1st Quarter:
7 - 0 Chargers lead
 Jake Plummer was intercepted on 3rd and 6 by San Diego's Drayton Florence when his pass to Jeb Putzier was tipped.
 LaDainian Tomlinson scored the 1st TD of the game on a 5 yard rush after a Drew Brees 30 yard pass to Eric Parker put the Chargers at 1st and goal.
 Jason Elam missed on a 43 yard FG attempt after Ashley Lelie made a 44 yard reception to put the Broncos within scoring range.
 Kenoy Kennedy picked off a Drew Brees pass intended for Antonio Gates and returned it 21 yards, effectively ending his streak of 195 passes without an interception.
 Jake Plummer was picked off again by the Chargers' Steve Foley after Dwayne Carswell was hit from behind by Randall Godfrey while trying to catch the pass. The ball bounced off his hands and into Foley's.
 Broncos' Marco Coleman recovered a Chargers fumble by Eric Parker, marking the 4th turnover of the game, 2 for each team.
2nd Quarter:
7 - 7 Tie Game
 Rookie Tatum Bell ran 16 yards for a TD to even the score on a 5 play, 64 yard drive. It was the longest rush and the 1st TD of his career. Key plays: Ashley Lelie receptions of 36 and 14, respectively to set up the scoring drive.
14 - 7 Chargers lead
 LaDainian Tomlinson scored on a 1 yard rush after a short drive. the Charger's started their possession on the Denver 21 yard line after a short punt by Micah Knorr and a 19 yard return by Eric Parker.
 Jake Plummer was intercepted yet again when his pass was tipped and caught by San Diego's Shaun Phillips.
17 - 7 Chargers lead
 Nate Kaeding kicked a 23 yard FG to put the Chargers up by 10 going into the half.
3rd Quarter:
20 - 7 Chargers lead
 Nate Kaeding kicked another 23 yard FG for the only score of the 3rd quarter.
4th Quarter:
20 - 14 Chargers lead
 Reuben Droughns scored his only TD of the game on a 6 play, 65 yard drive. Key play: Rod Smith 45 yard reception on 1st down.
20 - 17 Chargers win
 Jason Elam kicked a 31 yard FG after a 9 play, 49 yard drive.
 Jake Plummer threw his 4th interception of the game when a short pass intended for Rod Smith in the end zone was tipped and caught by San Diego's Jerry Wilson with only 3:45 left in the game.
 The Broncos did get one more possession but were unable to get the ball into scoring position before the clock ran out.
