Game Recap
1st Quarter:
No Score
 Reuben Droughns fumbled twice on the Broncos' opening drive, the first recovered by Denver TE Dwayne Carswell. The second was lost to Miami's Eddie Moore. Both fumbles were forced by Dolphin LB Derrick Pope.
 Miami scored no points on the turnover as QB A.J. Feeley fumbled the ball on 3rd down when he was sacked by Denver's Monsanto Pope. The dolphins recovered and were forced to punt.
7 - 0 Dolphins lead
 Marty Booker scored on an 8 yard TD pass from A.J. Feeley to put the 1st score on the board. Key play: Miami's Jay Williams intercepted a pass from Jake Plummer, Denver's 2nd turnover of the game.
2nd Quarter:
7 - 7 Tie Game
 Tatum Bell scored his 1st TD of the game on a 7 yard rush on a 9 play, 80 yard drive. Key play: Rod Smith 26 yard reception.
14 - 7 Dolphins lead
 Sammy Morris scored on an 11 yard TD rush to put the Dolphins back up by 7.
14 - 14 Tie Game
 Tatum Bell scored his 2nd TD of the game on an 11 yard rush after a 4 play, 70 yard drive. Key plays: 16, 32, and 11 yard receptions by Darius Watts, Ashley Lelie, and Rod Smith respectively.
3rd Quarter:
14 - 14 Tie Game
 AL Wilson picked off a pass from A.J. Feeley intended for Miami's Chris Chambers at the Dolphin's 36 yard line.
17 - 14 Broncos lead
 Jason Elam kicked a 20 yard FG on a 5 play, 36 yard drive. Key plays: Tatum Bell 29 yard rush to the 7 yard line where he tripped over his own feet. He then got to the 1 yard line but dropped a pass from Jake Plummer on 3rd down as he was wide open in the end zone, forcing the kick.

 Olindo Mare scored a FG to tie the game heading into the 4th quarter.
4th Quarter:
17 - 17 Tie Game
 The Broncos converted on a crucial 4th down and 6 when Jake Plummer connected with TE Jeb Putzier for a 19 yard gain.
 2 plays later, Jake Plummer was picked off again at Miami's 12 yard line by Sammy Knight. Miami then went 3 and out.
20 - 17 Broncos win
 Jason Elam kicked the game winning FG, a 50 yarder with 2:50 left to go in the game. After Miami was unable to retaliate, Reuben Droughns rushed for Denver's final 1st down, all that was needed to run out the clock and seal the win.
