1st Quarter:
7 - 0 Colts lead
 Marvin Harrison caught the 1st TD reception to open the scoring from the Colt's backup QB Jim Sorgi.
7 - 7 Tie game
 Jake Plummer responded immediately with a 38 yard TD pass to Ashley Lelie to tie the game. The catch marked Lelie's 7th TD of the season, making him the NFL leader of over 30 yard TD receptions. The drive took 7 plays to go 75 yards.
2nd Quarter:
10 - 7 Broncos lead
 Jason Elam kicked a 45 yard FG to take the lead early in the quarter after a 10 play, 57 yard drive. Key play: Jeb Putzier 31 yard reception from Jake Plummer on 2nd and 9.
17 - 7 Broncos lead
 Patrick Hape scored his 4th TD of the season, a 2 yard pass from Jake Plummer to open up a 10 point lead. This tied Plummer with John Elway's season record of 27 TD passes set in 1993.
17 - 14 Broncos lead
 Reggie Wayne narrowed the score with a 71 yard TD reception from Jim Sorgi after a missed tackle by Denver's SS Kenoy Kennedy.
20 - 7 Broncos lead
 Jason Elam kicked his 2nd FG from 23 yards out after Indy's RB Dominic Rhodes was hit by CB Kelly Herndon and fumbled the ball. Herndon recovered the fumble at the Colts 3 yard line but the Broncos were unable to score a TD. This was the 1st fumble recovery and the 5th forced fumble of the year for Herndon.
3rd Quarter:
27 - 14 Broncos lead
 Jake Plummer ran in a TD on a 5 yard bootleg on a 9 play, 68 yard drive. This marked his 1st rushing TD of the season. Earlier in the drive, Plummer passed John Elway's pass record of 4,030 yards in a season, also set in 1993.
30 - 14 Broncos lead
 Jason Elam kicked a 40 yard FG after a 38 yard drive that began at the Colts 40 yard line after a 39 yard punt return by Denver's Charlie Adams.
4th Quarter:
33 - 14 Broncos win
 Jason Elam kicked his 4th FG of the game, another 40 yarder, to give him 129 points for the year. The Colts then went 3 and out and Denver ran out the clock.
