1st Quarter:

San Diego won the toss and elected to receive. The Chargers 1st drive took 6:22 off the clock but they were only able to get to the Denver 40 yd line and were forced to punt.
Denver went 3 and out on their ensuing drive and were forced to punt. On 1st and 10 at the 49, Chargers QB Phillip Rivers was picked off by Broncos S Nick Ferguson at the 42. Again, the Broncos went 3 and out and punted away.
