1st Quarter:
No Score
 Denver's 1st possession ended on 2nd and 5 at their 42 yd line when Broncos RB Tatum Bell was hit by Ravens DE Terrell Suggs who forced a fumble. The ball was recovered by Ravens CB Chris McAlister for the turnover.
3 - 0 Ravens lead
 Baltimore managed to capitalize on the turnover with a 24 yd FG by Ravens K Matt Stover with just under 5 minutes left in the half.
 Denver's second possession went much like the first, but this time the turnover was a Broncos QB Jake Plummer INT intended for WR Javon Walker but picked off by Ravens CB Samari Rolle. The Broncos defense was able to hold fast and Baltimore did not score on the change of possession.
2nd Quarter:
3 - 3 Tie Game
 Denver evened the score with a 43 yd FG by Broncos K Jason Elam with 5 minutes left in the half. Key play: RB Tatum Bell 17 yds on 4 carries.
 On Baltimore's ensuing drive, they marched 65 yds down the field. On 3rd and 9 Ravens QB Steve McNair's pass was picked off in the end zone by Broncos CB Champ Bailey to close out the half.
3rd Quarter:
 On 2nd and 8 at the Baltimore 14 yd line, Ravens QB Steve McNair was sacked by Broncos DT Michael Myers for a loss of 2 yds. McNair fumbled but the ball was recovered by Ravens C Mike Flynn to save possession. Neither team was able to score during the quarter.
4th Quarter:
6 - 3 Broncos lead
 On Denver's opening possession of the 4th quarter, Broncos K Jason Elam kicked a 44 yd FG to gain the lead. Key Plays: QB Jake Plummer 12 yd scramble for a 1st down, then fumbled out of bounds.
 On Baltimore's ensuing drive, Ravens QB Steve McNair was picked off again, this time by Broncos CB Darrent Williams at the Denver 45 yd line.
13 - 3 Broncos Win
 Denver scored the only TD of the game when Broncos QB Jake Plummer connected with WR Rod Smith in the endzone for 4 yds. Key Play: WR Javon Walker 27 yd reception, RB Tatum Bell 12 yd run.
 With 00:53 left in the game, Ravens QB Steve McNair was intercepted for the 3rd time, this time by Broncos CB Domonique Foxworth, cementing the Denver win. The Broncos then knelt to run out the clock.
