1st Quarter:
No Score
Denver won the coin toss and elected to receive. After two 1st downs, they punted away their 1st possession.
Oakland took the ball to the Denver 36 yd line for a 54 yd FG attempt but Raiders K Sebastian Janikowski's kick went wide right for no score.
7 - 0 Broncos lead
On the first play of Denver's ensuing drive, Broncos QB Jake Plummer connected with WR Javon Walker for a 54 yd gain to put the ball at the 2 yd line. The next play, RB Tatum Bell took it in for the TD.

2nd Quarter:
10 - 0 Broncos lead
Broncos K Jason Elam kicked his 1st FG of the game from 51 yds out after an 8 play, 29 yd drive. Key Play: 15 yd unnecessary roughness penalty called on Oakland for a 1st and 10 at the Oakland 35 yd line.

Denver scored again on their 3rd straight possession when Broncos K Jason Elam kicked a 22 yd FG. Key Play: WR Javon Walker 29 yd double reverse.
Broncos CB Champ Bailey stayed true to form by picking off Raiders QB Andrew Walter's pass intended for WR Randy Moss at the Denver 1 yd line just before the half. The play was challenged and upheld.

3rd Quarter:
Oakland punted on their opening drive of the second half. Broncos CB Darrent Williams returned the ball 21 yds before fumbling at the Oakland 48 yd line. Raiders LB Robert Thomas recovered the ball and the Raiders got another set of downs. Five plays later, Raiders QB Andrew Walters fumbled but recovered on 3rd and 1.

An unnecessary roughness penalty on Denver brought the ball back 15 yds but they retained possession. Denver then ran out the clock.
