1st Quarter:
7 - 0 Broncos lead
The Titans opened the ball game with 1st possession but were unable to get to midfield and were forced to punt. The Broncos took their opening drive to the house with a 48 yd TD reception by WR Brandon Stokley. Key Play: TE Tony Scheffler 16 yd reception.
14 - 0 Broncos lead
Tennessee went 3 and out and punted from their own 28. WR/PR Glenn Martinez ran the kick back 80 yds to put 7 more on the board.

2nd Quarter:
14 - 7 Broncos lead
This time the Titans answered with a score on a 21 yd TD reception by WR Brandon Jones 2 minutes into the 2nd quarter. Key Plays: QB Vince Young 12 yd scramble, WR Roydell Williams 16 yd reception, WR Justin Gage 10 yd reception.
17 - 7 Broncos lead
Denver answered back with a 21 yd FG off the foot of K Jason Elam to cap a 6 play drive. Key Plays: Stokley 20 yd reception, TE Daniel Graham 12 yd reception, 37 yd pass interference penalty on Titans CB Cortland Finnegan to set up 1st down at the 11. Denver got to the 2 but were forced to kick on 4th down.
20 - 7 Broncos lead
Tennessee put together a good drive with the help of a 20 yd reception by TE Bo Scaife, a 13 yd reception by RB Chris Brown and three 8 yd gains. With 1st and 10 at the Denver 26, RB LenDale White was hit by Broncos DT Marcus Thomas, who forced a fumble. The ball was recovered by Broncos LB Ian Gold at the 28. The Broncos then took the ball to the opposite 21 where Elam put up 3 more with a 39 yd FG. Key Plays: Scheffler 15 yd reception, WR Brandon Marshall 16 yd reception.
20 - 10 Broncos lead
The Titans rebounded with a 56 yd FG on their ensuing possession to keep within 2 scores. Key Plays: Gage 12 and 10 yd receptions, Brown 16 yd reception and 3 consecutive incomplete deep passes to set up the FG attempt. Gage fumbled on the 1st play of the drive but was able to recover possession.

3rd Quarter:
27 - 10 Broncos lead
The Broncos opened the 2nd half with another TD, this time a 41 yd throw to Marshall from QB Jay Cutler. Marshall was a big contributer on the drive with 11 and 16 yd receptions in addition to the TD. RB Selvin Young was injured on the drive but returned to play.
27 - 17 Broncos lead
The Titans made it only 12 yds and punted but Martinez muffed the catch and the ball was recovered by Titans LB Rich Scanlon at the Denver 27. Vince Young then ran 19 yds, White ran 4 more and Young punched it in to give Tennessee 7 pts. The play was originally ruled pushed out of bounds but Tennessee challenged, saying the ball broke the plane. The call was reversed and the Titans got the TD.

4th Quarter:
27 - 20 Broncos lead
The Broncos next drive was fruitless, as Cutler was sacked for a loss of 7 and Selvin Young was injured again and did not return. Titans WR/PR Chris Davis fumbled the punt but recovered and the Titans went on to score a 37 yd FG. Key Plays: White 11 yd run and 12 yd reception, Scaife 12 yd reception.
34 - 20 Broncos win
The Broncos answered again with a 62 yd TD run by RB Andre Hall on the 3rd play of the drive with 12:48 left to play.
Both teams went 3 and out and Tennessee then put together a 63 yd drive, but Young's pass intended for WR Eric Moulds was intercepted by Broncos CB Dre Bly and returned 16 yds with 5:01 left in the game. The Broncos went nowhere and punted but Young was intercepted again, this time by Gold at the Denver 30 with under 2 minutes to play. Cutler then knelt out the remaining time to seal the win.
