1st Quarter:
7 - 0 Raiders lead
 Oakland won the toss and elected to receive. Seven minutes later they scored on a 15 yd TD pass from QB Josh McCown to WR Tim Dwight. Key Plays: RB Justin Fargas 17 yd run and on 4th and 3, Broncos FB Cecil Sapp was flagged for running into the kicker after the punt. It was a 5 yd penalty and a free 1st down for the Raiders at the 50.
7 - 7 Tie game
 Denver evened the score on their ensuing drive with a 4 yd TD run by RB Travis Henry. Key Plays: WR Brandon Marshall 32 yd short reception, RB Selvin Young 10 yd reception. Young was injured on the play.
2nd Quarter:
14 - 7 Raiders lead
 Both teams went three and out and the Raiders marched to the Denver 32 where QB JaMarcus Russell fumbled the snap but recovered at the 40 for an 8 yd loss. Faced with a 4th and 18, Oakland went for the 58 yd FG off the foot of K Sebastian Janikowski but it fell short. Denver went 3 and out again and the Raiders got to the Denver 25 but fell short of the conversion on 4th and 1. Denver got the ball back and WR Brandon Marshall went 9 yds on 1st down. RB Travis Henry crossed the 1st down line but fumbled and lost the ball to Oakland DE Tyler Brayton at the 35. Five plays later the Raiders were in the endzone with a 13 yd pass to TE Zach Miller.
3rd Quarter:
17 - 7 Raiders lead
 Denver was unable to go anywhere in the last minute of the quarter but started the second half with 1st possession. Following a false start penalty that set up 3rd and 13, Broncos QB Jay Cutler threw to WR Javon Walker but was intercepted by LB Thomas Howard at the 34, who returned it 7 yds to the Denver 27. The Denver defense held and Oakland was forced to settle for a 38 yd FG.
24 - 7 Raiders lead
 The Broncos turned over the ball for the 3rd time with a Cutler fumble at their own 13. The ball was recovered by Raiders DE Chris Clemmons to set Oakland up with 12 yds to go. Two plays later, the Raiders were in the endzone with a 13 yd TD reception by WR Jerry Porter, giving the Raiders 17 points off of turnovers.
24 - 10 Raiders lead
 Denver managed to put up 3 pts with a 29 yd FG off the foot of K Jason Elam. Key Play: WR Brandon Stokley 58 yd reception.
24 - 13 Raiders lead
 The Raiders again got inside the redzone with the help of a 29 yd run by Fargas. They stalled at the 17 and again missed a FG, this time from 35 yds out. The Broncos tacked on 3 more with a 44 yarder following a 50 yd drive. Stokley caught a 33 yd reception and TE Tony Scheffler caught a 17 yd reception but Cutler was sacked at the 18 on 3rd and 3 for an 8 yd loss to set up the FG.
4th Quarter:
24 - 20 Raiders lead
 Denver tried to make a comeback when 3 plays later, LB D.J. Williams recovered a McCown fumble at the Oakland 35. Ten plays later, Henry ran it in from 3 yds out to narrow the score to 4.
27 - 20 Raiders lead
 Oakland answered with a 44 yd FG with the help of back to back receptions by Miller of 26 and 19 yds.
34 - 20 Raiders win
 Cutler threw his 2nd INT on the next drive, caught by DB Fabian Washington at the Denver 43. The Broncos challenged the ruling but the play was upheld and the Raiders went on to score again and seal the win with a 5 yd Fargas TD run. Denver got the ball back with 3 minutes to go but went nowhere. They were able to hold Oakland to -4 yds and got a final possession with a minute left but again went nowhere and Cutler knelt to finish out the game.
