1st Quarter:
7 - 0 Broncos lead
 Denver made it to midfield on their opening drive but stalled and was forced to punt. Green Bay went 3 and out and punted back. PR/WR Glenn Martinez returned the ensuing punt 26 yds to the Broncos 40 to start their 2nd drive. Several plays later, TE Tony Scheffler caught a 5 yd TD pass to put the Broncos on top. Key Plays: WR Brandon Stokley 22 yd reception, RB Selvin Young 12 yd run, 2 penalties on Green Bay S Atari Bigby (unnecessary roughness for 7 yds and defensive pass interference to set up 1st and goal at the 1).
7 - 7 Tie game
 The Packers answered immediately with a 79 yd TD pass to WR James Jones.
2nd Quarter:
10 - 7 Packers lead
 Denver advanced to 2nd and goal at the 1 but QB Jay Cutler fumbled and the ball was recovered by Green Bay LB Nick Barnett. The Packers then drove to the Broncos' 1 yd line but were forced to settle for a 19 yd FG by K Mason Crosby.
13 - 7 Packers lead
 Denver went 3 and out and Green Bay again made it to the 1 yd line. They were forced to settle for another FG, this time for 26 yds. Key Plays: WR Greg Jennings 20 yd reception right before the 2 minute warning, RB Vernon Morency 9 yd run plus a face mask penalty on Broncos S Nick Ferguson to set up 1st and goal at the 3.
3rd Quarter:
13 - 10 Packers lead
 Twelve minutes into the 3rd quarter, Broncos K Jason Elam narrowed the score with a 46 yd FG after a 7:39 possession. Denver was faced with 2nd and 25 at the 31 but were able to get within Elam's range.
4th Quarter:
13 - 13 Tie Game
 Both teams were unable to get much past midfield until the final seconds of regulation when Elam kicked a 21 yd FG to send the game to overtime. Key Plays: WR Brandon Marshall consecutive receptions of 35 and 13 yds.
Overtime:
16 - 13 Packers win
 Despite the Broncos valiant comeback effort, Green Bay QB Brett Favre threw an 82 yd TD bomb on the 1st play of overtime to Jennings to end the sudden death period.
